wow. long time no talk. i think i should have a lot to say but here goes. spring semester is done...but now only to prepare for my last year at ISU. and that kinda scares me a bit. i can't believe how fast the time has gone.  summer is going well. working at student accounts and haning out w/ some pretty cool folks. i've been visiting out to timber pointe when i can.....i can fix my need to be around campers. that was one hard decision to make but i can at least still be a part....somehow. but what you ask is looming over my head now? i mean really...its summer there should be no worries. alas....there is some worry but excitment in it as well. i'm beginning the process of applying for internships for next summer/fall for music therapy. contrary to most internships- this one is 6 months!!! there is no place 'local' in which i could commute so that means i get to live on my own....far away from my dear friends at isu and family at home. so come visit! but i have some cool places in mind like...dallas texas, indianapolis, ohio, chicago and st. charles, so that is very exciting. but will be a pain until i have all the essays written and letters and resume completed. and p.s.- i hate resumes! they are a pain in the butt!!!!!!

oh and big news thus far- i bought a new car!!! well...new to me but still. its a 2004 grand prix. so nice and so happy! my brother-in-law is getting deployed in a few weeks. as far as we know he will be gone for a year and will be in charge of a patrol boat/ship in the persian(sp) gulf. he wont be in iraq which is good but he will still be gone...for a year.

IVC marching band camp- yes i get to be in charge of kids again!

i'm updating....procrastinating music history. so life has been good, crazy hectic but good.  i have practicum at heritage manor nursing home this semester. hopefully, it will go smoothly. harry potter class is well....lots of reading but so far so good. i always seem to have more on my plate than i originally wanted but ya know, thats me. still working at Bath and Body. have to decide pretty soon whether or not to stay- don't know if i can handle two jobs and school and tbs. the family is getting a dog- his name is boomer, a mix of some sort but really cute. rome is less than a month away and i can't wait. there is gonna be a lot of stuff to get done before than but it will be well worth it.

i'm missing camp and the people. no going back to camp was such a hard decision and i constantly wonder if it was the right one. i dont know really how to describe it- how much of a family it is. a counselor is in the hospital and a fellow counselor from england dedicated a song to him on his radio show and he sent the MP3 to all of us. just means something i guess. and does anyone really read this anymore? i can't seem to tell.
